SAE Reference Material Site Dead?

Has anyone tried to access http://www.saecollege.de/reference_material/index.html
lately? I've been trying all week but get a timeout every time. Maybe their server is down?

John Sayers - any ideas? Can your reference material be downloaded elsewhere or is SAE the only site?

Worked for me, too. Maybe your browser is caching a glitch - try clearing your browser cache?

Hmmm
I'm still not getting in. Emptied Temporary Internet Files and History Folder. No change. I'm on my work computer (Uncle Sam) and they block a lot of stuff like MP3's, etc. Maybe they're blocking out-of-country sites (xxx.de). Any more ideas?

Currently there are two links to "The Recording Manual" -- the bottom one goes to the SAE site, but the top one goes to pages within John's site. This has a lot of the same great material. John, PLEASE forgive me if you didn't want that pointed out! :>)

Oh - I didn't know that was happening - I put it up on my site to show my sister in NZ in the original web design as it was easier to do that than ask her to download it as she's pretty illiterate when it comes to puters so I gave her a direct link,didn't realise I had that link on the main page - thanks for that, I'll delete it

I guess the problem was a block of some sort at work. I can get to the site fine at home.

Yeah the link works but I used to be able to have the image appear on the page so you don't have to go to another site or open an attachment.

You used to be able to attach pictures that showed directly in the post as opposed to putting them on a web server and post an
