Some years ago we rode
A rusted rocketship to the sun
You never once believed
It was all for fun
You rose in the morning
And another night was done

Once I took a walk
Ended up in another place
You came and rescued me
Such a familiar face
You gave me back
A sense of time and space

Chorus:
So c'mon baby
We need something to believe in
Cause we're running out of reasons everyday
So c'mon baby
We need something to believe in
Cause we're running out of reasons everyday

We'd listen to some Dylan
And get tangled up in blue
I would give you everything
You were something to pursue
You'd give it back
And make it all brand new

See the dawn come calling
And the red sun over the bay
The years are falling swiftly
Our skies are turning to gray
You used to run with the twisters
Now you're just blowing away

Chorus: repeat

Nice enough tune. I liked the bass sound, and it seems to be sitting just right.

I'm noticing some small pitch issues on the male vocal (e.g., :28, 2:04, other spots too). The female vocal jumps out in a couple of spots. The vocals could use a bit more clarity. They're just a bit cloudy.

The acoustic guitar it fairly dull sounding. Not horrible or anything, but it gets easily covered by the other instruments.

I would reduce or change the reverb. It's a bit heavy.

Drums were OK for being canned. They are a bit robotic and lack a bit of shimmer.

I'm probably a bit too critical, it's not as bad as I'm probably implying. Just things I noticed for improvement.

I'm not sure but I think the drums are a little hot. I'm not getting much besides drums and vocals overall. The backing music is only audible between lyrics (except harp). Good tune, kinda reminds me of the duets on the C&W station. The mix is pretty close - so maybe just a tweak on the drums and backing for me.

Real nice song, I noticed similar things to what Trip said about the vox, levels could blend a little better, and some pitchy-ness. Enjoyed the listen, song has a nice pleasant energy to it., almost an innocense you dont hear often.

I agree that it's mostly drums and vocals. I can get over some of the pitch issues on the vocal. It's when she leaves the harmony and goes into unison with the lead vocal where it loses its magic. Nice work on the harmonica. Nice tune. Very Dylan like.
