Running a Presonus Firebox with iMac

Hello.. yesterday I picked up a Presonus Firebox to use with my iMac (2.8ghz Core 2 Duo). I'm running a AKG Perception 200 Condenser Mic through an ART Tube MP Preamp and into the firebox.

Any tips for this clearly simple setup? Should I forget about the tube preamp, and just run my mic directly into the firebox?

You can do it either way. Just try both, and see which one you like the best. No rules apply.
