A friend of mine offered the opportunity to be the "House Recordist" for an all-ages live music venue, housed in an arts space in San Jose. This means my gear will be taking a few short road trips in the near future.
I would really like to protect my tape deck. I was thinking that getting the rack ears for the 34b, and then putting the deck in a road rack case would be a good idea. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
And, any recommendations on a road case style/type for the M-30? I assume that foam padding is a good idea here. I've never bought a road case before.
