RMGi - Quantegy equivalent

Ive never heard of RMGi before and i am going to buy some. Ive been using 1/2" Quantegy 456, can anyone please tell me what the RMGi equivalent is? Thanks

Uh, he said 456, that's SM911. As far as I remember the spec sheets, SM900 is the very high-output stuff like GP9, isn't it?

911 it is.
900 is more like 499 and GP9.
Also try SM468. Very very good results if you're calibrated for 456.

Quantegy (Ampex) 456/457 is bias equivilent to Scotch 226/227 is bias equivilent to BASF/AGFA/EMTEC SM911 and SM468 (+6 level tape)

SM911 - Quantegy 456
LPR35 - Quantegy 457 (See Daniel's post below... messing with the space-time continuum aren't we?)
SM468 - Alternative +6 tape which is used in place of 456 and 478... has higher bias than 456 but many people use it as a drop-in for 456 without changing the bias. Great archiving and mastering tape.

Actually, Quantegy 457 = RMGI LPR35.

NOTE: LPR35 is SM911 on 1mil base.

Does this mean Quantegy 478 sounds similar to SM 468?

I dont know but the 911 sounds pretty darn close to 456.
