RME Fireface 800 question?

Hey.
I am in between buyin git. But have a question if someone who owns it or just knows please explain.

It is said that FF combines 8 ins and outs, along with possibility of 8 inserts?
Now i am looking carefully at the specs, the pics, nad dont see any ins for the inserts?


How do they do that?

I think what you're talking about is the ability, via software, to use the Ins/Outs as inserts. If so, then the routing is done within TotalMix or your native app (Cubase, Logic, etc). Do you have a link to where it specifically talks about inserts with the Fireface?
