Rigid rockwool?

Ok, I've read thru many designs for bass traps & various treatments and many call for rigid fiberglass.... Of course, finding Corning 703 is a bitch in my area. However, I stumbled across this on the Roxul site: Rigid rockwool! Turns out there's a dealer in my town. Will this stuff do the trick?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think rigid fiberglass is the same thing as rigid rockwool??? It doesn't say anything about sound insulation though.

If that's true than yes it should be fine.

John should be able to clarify the matter.

My mistake.
After checking out the PDF at the bottom of the screen it seems like it should do the trick. Depending on the application will determine how thick you should get it. I would go for 4" as it goes all the way down to 125HZ.
