How About

Bad Ass! Don't know how they compare to other expensive tube DIs, but I PROMISE you WON'T be disappointed!

I'd get one in a heart beat if I could afford one.

hey - thanks for the advice - i've taken the plunge. i'm getting it 2nd hand at 1/4 of the list price.

can't wait.

Bastard!

If you ever come-by one at that price again... You know who to tell...

Well...

And the quote I go from Westwood was $1259USD. Not all THAT expensive, but a bit too steep for me at this point with the few compressors I have, as it's not much of a versitile unit. Because if I wanted something with an agressive attitude, but still LOTS of versitility, I'd get the Distressor at the same price, but for one channel!

well it arived and it sounds good - i've used it to warm up bass, vocal & keyboard. it defiantely does add a little something....

:)

on question though - if i crank the gain (on the high gain output - 30x gain) it suddenly breaks up inot *really* nasty distortion. i wonder if this could eb a valve thing - any ideas ? it's fitted with PM electronics 12ax7's
