Just to be retired/semi shows signs of genius! ;)

It's more like acceptence of circumstances.

Being semi-retired is less depressing than longterm unemployment.

Looks better on a calling card too!

I'm not saying today's dress rehearsal was a shambles but it required Bundy rum, white wine and Tawny port (sequentially, not mixed) to ease the pain.

(The rented sound system is sounding good though--it's giving a very clean and accurate reproduction of the bollocks emerging from the actors' mouths in lieu of the scripted lined.)

I typical day with actors. They can drive a man to drink.
 
Well, my monthly pension arriving (at a slightly better exchange rate than lately) happened to coincide with a visit to Dan Murphy--where there was a bottle of Piramimma Digby on the shelf calling me siren-like.

It's truly delicious--the only problem is that it's spoiling me for my usual quaffing port.
