Req: GC 50$ MK-319/MK-012

I keep hearing mention of either the Oktava MK-319 or MK-012 being/going on sale for 50$ each at Guitar Center -- but unfortunately the 'local' GC "won't be selling them at that price again."

So, this is a request to anyone out there who is fortunate enough to live near a GC who lets them go at this price, or who knows a salesperson who would be willing to meet this price.

Please post the contact info of one of these stores.

Where do you live? I don't think they'll ship them (though I could be wrong.)
 
I tried the GC at Phone: 602-375-3800

and it said the number was disconnected. I tried the alternate that was given by the operator, and it turned out to be "Lee's Locks" (sp?) or something to that effect. What number do you call for that GC?
 
Alright then, crazydoc's counted two infringements on me so far.
Oddly, they've both dealt with numbers.

It's amazing how my quickly-scribbled 8's look like 0's. The two circles of the 8 were on top of each other. I was dialing 375-3000!

I've ordered the mics, and strangely, Ryan said he had none in stock -- they're being shipped from a GC near me. I guess this means that he sold those two that he told you he had in the 4 minutes it took me to call? Well..

I'm going to laugh if it comes from the same store that told me they weren't going to do the 2 MK319s for 99$.

Hey, Departing, glad it worked out.

I think the lesson from this is that each individual GC manager is given great latitude in the pricing of their products and "making deals", and if you can't get one store to deal with you, try another.
 
I was told the same thing that "they won't be available at that price anymore". So I talked them down to $130 for the pair. this is for Oktava MK012. Just bought them today actually.

I went to the GC in Paramus, NJ

i just got a pair of mk012 for 99 each :(
they wouldn sell them for less

anyhow i think it was a nice buy

I believe it is of great praise to our educational system when I honestly say that I have taken 7 Spanish classes and can only make out "...No, they are..."
 
Well, I can't really translate it myself, as it's somewhat idiomatic.
But "Pigs?... No, they're goddamn sons of bitches" would be the gist of it. :)
