In about 6 months when ive built up a bit of recording knowledge and a bit more equipment im planning on recording a demo/EP or my band. I've decided to record the drums in a profesional studio but i want to be involved in as much as possible. Also i'm hoping to save money by doing as much of the recording myself as possible. Unfotunately i cant afford to soundproof a room. I was woundering what your thoughts are on recording stuf like vocals and acoutic or electric guitar in a rehearsal studio. I'll do the recording in one room and set up my computer in another. Will i get a satisfactory sound with this (keep in mind im hoping to use the recordins to attract the attention of record lables).

Cheers
Edward

If you have decent skills, equipment, and room sound then you will be fine. If not, well...
