I'm trying to record a live set from mp3 to a 700meg/80min CDR and am having no luck. I have the resulting mp3->wav file split into 10 minute tracks ready to be burned. When I load up Adaptec EZCD Creator 4, it says that I need to remove files in order to burn the CD, when I am under the 80 minute mark by 4 minutes. I don't think that the software is recognizing the 700meg/80min cd correctly and I haven't found any options or settings where I can change this. Have any of you out there been able to successfully record onto 80min CD's? What am i doing wrong? Thank you in advance.

I think it has to do with Aptec, I have the same exact problem. I've never been able to get 80min CDRs to work. Try a different problem.

Just a precaution (which you already may know) - 80 minute CD's won't play on a lot of CD players (particularly older ones).

Thanks

Thank you for your help everyone. I'm downloading Nero right now, hopefully it will work.

Post your results, I would also like to know a better burning software than aptec. Its too user friendly (aka, lacks real features, but has an animated character to explain the point and click).
