Recent Composition

The vocal work is good. Singing is really tight. You've moved the vocals around the mix well within the bridge sections and verse's.

The music itself is a little bit too "indie" (forgive me if thats the wrong genre) for my taste, but its generally alright. How were the drums recorded? I feel you could brighten them up a bit. Maybe the hats, snare and cymbals could get more prominent.

Certainly pretty good . The vocals carry well.
 
Thanks for the feedback, The drums are live loops from a Drums on demand set, I tend to use them quite a bit as i really am no drummer but the trouble with them is you always have to compromise to get them to sit in the mix.

This set was the best i could find for this song but there was loads of hi freq slosh going on which was generally to dominant and was particulary fighting with the vocals. It was a trade off and the VOX won.
