No, it's diffrent. In PA 9 you need to insert EQ to FX bin. Per-track EQ is integrated EQ, pre or post FX bin. It's available from Sonar 3PE Producer on. You need Sonitus plugins installed to have it.

...and the track eq's use next to nothing for processing power...they work great. I too, never wind up using the Lexicon ... favoring instead my Waves IR ... which I recently dropped 3 bills to purchase...
...and now 5 includes one...
