quick recording help

hello , i just got a new mixer and i was wondering what cord i'll need to connect it to my computer. i tried using a cord with red and white prongs on one side, and a 1/8 on the other side through the tape out into my sound card, but it seems loose in the tape out jacks. but i dont know, this may be normal i dont know how snug they are suppose to fit. any pictures of the cord i'll need would be a bonus and nice as well. thanks.

sorry, i didnt know which one this post would go under...and im really looking for quick help so i figured if i posted in a couple forums i'd get help quicker. sorry if i broke any forum rules here, you can delete them if they dont belong in an area or right after i get a quick answer.
