Hi guys
I'm relatively new to all of this, so apologies in advance for any annoying naivety!
I have Adobe Audition installed on my laptop (Dell Studio XPS with Windows 7) and I am looking to begin using it to create multitrack recordings of live music. I purchased a Behringer Xenyx 1024 usb, having being impressed with other Behringer products and being led to believe that I would be able to record multiple tracks at the same time (acoustic guitar / percussion / vocals isolated in different rooms), with the ultimate goal of being able to mix / edit the tracks individually.
Having successfully managed to get the sound through to Adobe Audition via the mixer (after installing ASIO drivers) and managing to capture audio, I seem unable to record individual tracks - I am only getting one main mix with all of the tracks represented as one audio file in Audition.
Is the Behringer Xenyx 1024 usb unable to record multiple tracks simultaneously, or am I missing something in the setup?
Many thanks in advance for any available help.
Chris
