Question for Bruce on noise gates

Hi Bruce,

I visited your website and saw on your equipment list that you were using a couple Behringer SNR2000 noise gates. I was wondering what you thought of them.

I am currently using a T.C. Electronics Finalizer set up as a noise gate, but was wanting something separate to use for separating the cymbals from the snare track and was wondering if the SNR2000 could handle this. If so, for the price they would be well worth it.

Hmmm.... that IS the gate I have... not sure where I got the SNR from.....

It works very well as far as gates go...

Thanks for the feedback. I checked the price on Zzounds and the Intelligate is $199. Now all I need to do is get permission from the "Keeper of the Checkbook" to let me place an order. (That is if she doesn't have plans for the money.)

Sonic Misfit!! STOP!!!!!!
