...happier than you.
Well... after much trial and tribulation, I've (kinda) come to a decision (sort of) on what I want my very first LD Condenser Mic to be... The C-1. (best in the "under $200" range.. that is.. once I find one on eBay for under $200
) I was wavering between the Oktava MK319 (good sound, but too risky,.. QC issues), the V67 (heard too many bad things aboot it) and a few others... and I finally made a very shaky pseudo-decision to get the C-1.... (In other words.. if I sneeze too hard before I can get out and buy it, I’ll prolly change my mind...
) But before I haul my indecisive @ss around to every music store in the area, I figured I'd ask this. Does anyone know where I can audition Studio Projects mics in the St. Louis area? I can barely handle buying a candy bar without "buyer's remorse" so you know I ain't gonna drop a couple hundred on a mic without hearing it for myself first.
Any info is appreciated. Thanks
