I own a Guild D-4.
I use Martin Medium gauge strings.
Every six months or so I need to readjust the neck.
It pulls out making the action to hard for me to play.
The nut seems to be starting to cut into the wood a slight bit.
Is it normal for this kind of ferquent adjustment ?
Should I place a washer before the nut to help stop the cutting of the wood ?
Anything else I should know about acoustic care & maintenance ?
