Question----do you record via your computer's tracking program or record in the workstation for stability reason's and then send the tracks into cakewalk, logic or whatever and mix?

Some folks prefer a standalone recorder for hands on and then import to PC just for edit, mix & master.
I sometimes use both but prefer the PC for a do it all solution.

yep i track into a boss br1180c.d then import the tracks into c.e.p....works great other than the burning of the disc to transfer to the computer...

All computer

I used to do a lot of bouncing around between hardware...
But, that was because computers were too expensive and volitile...
But, now they have come down in price and they have great capability...

DAW...
Definitely, DAW!
