What's this button do?
I am curious how a tube pre works. I know what the outcome is, but i was wondering if it is more of an effect, or what? I am just starting to look for a decent tube pre for my recording setup, and i want to know if I need 1,2, or more channels. Can I run it into an aux in or something and effect everything in the board or DAW? I would really like to use it for small live gigs for demo recording as well. What do you guys reccomend, keeping price in perspective?
