Has anyone used a homerecording.com member's mixing or mastering services to good effect? I am working on an album of material that I definitely want mastered by someone other than myself, and potentially mixed as well. I'm not looking for people to post their own services as advertisements, but am curious if any homerec'rs had their own material mixed and/or mastered by a pro- or semi-professional homerec member to good effect. If this is the sort of thing we frown on posting openly, feel free to PM me as well.

I mastered songs for few folks from here, and they were very happy about outcome,
I could ask them to contact you

Jan at finemastering.de does mixing and mastering for a few of us.....me included...:D
he is aka karumba here at HR

See MP3 clinic for my latest master or in my GMP sig (top 15 are mastered).

Another endorsement for Jay Walsh of Farview. He mixed my last cd and did a fantastic job. I can't believe how many reviewers commented on the sonic quality of my release. Plus he is a great guy as well. PM me with questions.

I do send all my stuff to Massive Master for mastering. The only time that doesn't happen is when the client or clients record label has their own guy, and I can't talk them out of it.

Thank you for the recommendations guys!

Keep 'em coming, but thanks - I know this is homerecording.com, but there gets to be a point where you realize your limitations and unless I want to wait 10 more years to gain enough experience to mix and (especially) master myself, I'll never get anything out the door :P

I had my stuff mastered through John @ Massive and definitely didn't regret it.
