Don't know if y'all heard or not, but Professor X of the X Clan passed due to spinal minigitis. If you don't know who the XClan is, find out and get familiar with it. "To the East Blackwards" was a hot album, back when it was cool to rock African medallions. I could play it all the way through without skipping a song. Professor X didn't rap per say, but he was the voice behind the album. They were one of the groups that not only rapped about social change in the community, they lived it too. "Vanglorious, with a key sisseeeeee" RIP

Didnt hear..

Sad.. He definetly made his mark on hip hop.. With his method of delivering messages.. One the best "hype men" ever..

appreciate da info..

RIP..

Sad to hear that. I used to love x-clan even to death back in the day. One of the first groups to really sample the crap out of parliment. I always loved something about brother j's voice and delivery.

RIP

For real although all of his lyrical content was 'afrocentric' he had presence on the mic that you respected...

R.I.P. but let's be thankful that there was no violence involved in his death. He will be missed.
