It's a pawn that goes to a tiny chess board.

I was being a little firm pulling out the transport and I heard a click and it was bouncing around in there. It does look like something that should go outside, but I can't find a picture of anything that looks like it

I'm getting better though....... 
.especially after getting intimate with this machine yesterday.... Does the 234 have idler tires? I don't remember seeing any, but I'll go to start the machine and it will click off right away and the rewind and fast forward don't move. (I made sure the cam gear was in the slot)
