Thanks, man. I'm looking forward to it. I'm gonna figure it out if it kills me, though, as I can see this being a recurring problem. I'm gonna post this in the n-track forum and see if I can pick crankz1's brain. I'm wondering if I need to compensate for the files being 24/48, and if I need to specify that on conversion and blah blah..........
Thanks again :)

ill have it on there in an hour my friend! :)

BTW you are up late/early!!! I thought i was the only one. It's 5:50am my time.

yep 3am here.
ill pass out around 6 or 7.
:D
all my steady clients are like me as far as hours are concerned!
Im lucky for that too.
i hate going to bed early! :)

I have a question. What is allowed and what is not? Adding own-made midi synthlines for example? Or really just mixing and mastering and that's it?

Yeh me too. I had an early gig last night, couldn't sleep, now doing pre-production for a small folk festival today. Soundcheck at 11 am. Will pretty much drop dead after the show.

Off to drive for a couple hours. I really appreciate you posting those tracks again. If you get a sec could you possibly answer those questions? Did you convert your files to aiff or record them that way, and what recording platform do you use. I gotta start asking more questions. :)

Thanks again.

i used pro tools le all tracks were through an allen and heath mx16 board.
i recorded them in aiff format.
but im almost done boucing them out in wav! :)

Well seems like everyone else will be adding things and what not. I guess Im going to get the most close to origional but im gonna put mine up anyway hehe. There is some weird clicky noise at the beginning which i got on both of the cds i burned and i checked my source so Im going to assume it was my burning software.

Well try to enjoy!

Rudalicious...

That sounded great!! I really like what you did w/ the guitar track. Sounds huge, bright and present. (and VERY stereo) Mine still sounds like a plywood Harmony from 1965, never having its strings changed!!

I am gonna spend a few more minutes on this, having to use my laptop and $10 phones. I'm not going to have any studio time today (I don't think), as my wife just got back from an 11 day trip. You married guys understand... ;)

i am also in...but tell me please - when do we have to have this posted/done by?

OK here is my first attempt. You might have to turn it up a bit as I don't have as much volume as rudalicious.

Nothing fancy. Made a few edits. Mixed on my Tascam FW-1884 and Cubase SX 2.

This was fun !
