i'll review yours if you review mine
i'm listening on computer speakers...so bare that in mind.
the drums seem WAY off beat. i have no clue why...maybe it's the guitars that are off. did you put a delay on them? the snare sound needs to have less of the bottom snare and more of the top where the attack is at, i personally think. vocals sound good, but there are parts that the reverb sounds a little much. i definitely think you can turn the lead guitar up some more and the acoustic down. also the lead guitar seems a little mid heavy.
i think with the drums it wouldn't hurt to just start all over from scratch and try again. they really seem delayed and not mixed well. the snare especially (both off beat and mixing wise). also, i think Fin's comment on dynamics could help you too. think of the song as a peice where it builds at parts and is quieter at other ones...use of automation will help you here. after the guitar solo/break section the vocals come back in and the band stays at the same volume it seems and it's hard to hear the vocals.
also, a big engineer job is to listen to any extra artificats that are on the track that need to be taken out. such as the guy talking at the end on his vocal track.
okay....those are my suggestions. good luck
