XFIN dont forget my feedback thnx

Sounded great in terms of the balance between everything.
Everything except for those drum samples which i didnt care for.
The cool dynamic feel of the drummer?-Gone.
Every kick and snare hit?-Exact same volume.
That stuff is only useful if it can sound natural IMO.
Especially in a band that requires a liveish type sound.

But again its My Opinion.

Sonicly all seemed well aside from my gripe.
Good work Jerberson.

Take all the vocal parts and the lead guitar track and turn them down -3db.
Dont touch anything else though.
Lemme hear what that sounds like 7.

Thanks X... can I call you X? ;)

Ok, I did what you ask and agree that the guitar sits better in the mix but the vocals, TO ME, just don't sound loud enough. But that's just me. Here ya go:

I love chicken! And so does Mom. We have it about 3 times a week! But I've gotta tell ya I've never eaten a carburator in my life. Couple of manifolds and a brake lining once, but never a carburator. ;)

I'll work on it tomorrow and post another.

Thanks -X!

Much better in terms on balance.
\However, youll need to take that compressor OFF of the mix please.
Its making the mix pump in a quite unflattering way, and may be be pushing the vocals down too.
Take off the master comp, and rebounce it for me.

-Finster

Thanks, Chris. I'll try again. After listening to some of the better mixes done so far, mine is way wacked, again.

Heh, posting one again

You must be allready bored to hell with these hehe :D

I noticed the previous one hadn't enough stereo separation at the upper frequences. The image was a bit blurry. Anyway here is the one with sharper image. Compare them. What do you like? Is this one better?

The previous one (bit blurry imaging)

The new one (sharper imaging)

once again Fin...i want to thank you for all the comments you are making...I think that is what makes these contests so helpful.

Im still scared to say that this is my final mix...but since we have so long till the end of the contest, I think i will take a couple of days break from it...although it is a really good song.

anymore suggestions???

Ok -X, here's a new mix with the suggestions you made. I wish I had a lyric sheet for this. I really like the song, but a few of the lyrics escape me. ;)

And your suggestions are opening my eyes (ears) to some things so thanks for that!

oh men... :( well see ya tomorrow bud gudluck for tonight

and watch out for banana peeling on the stage :D

Well, I just got the tracks from NL5,
Awesome of him to mail them to me, I might add...

Nice tracking... Low, Low level vox... Oh well.

I'll make do. Not sure if I'll mix this vox first though... Maybe.

Uploading my first mix of this... Almost NO time spent at all,
So, I won't be surprised if it sucks hardcore. Vox may be a bit quiet.
Dist Guit, I don't really care for but, oh well.

Thanks for entering BTW!
You won PMC#2 correct?

Well, hopefully I'll get a submission up. I am not sure if it was PMC 2 or 3 that I won. It wasn't one of the heavier tunes, I think it was a female singer.

Is there a folder somewhere with all of the current submissions? I thouhgt there was, but I can't seem to find a link.

Thanks,

PMC 3 was pretty heavy stuff, so it might have been PMC2 that you won,

Heya all again! :D

Here comes my almost the final one. I would say I'm starting to be around 98% ready here. What do you think? And Chris are the dynamics any better?

The mp3 is here
