Ok here is my next version in progress. I would call this "pre-final mix" :p
Starting to get there. Still some minor tweaking to do, bit vocal tweaking and some more or less annoying "frequency packs" (huh?) here and there. And those toms.. I still don't like them hehe :D

Good just got better Kainz.
Take a look at the review i gave to Strave.
About the dynamics.
The hook should jump out a bit.
Other than that this has a great balance, and spread to it.

Nice.

Yeah, I'm one of them. I've been really busy the last year (job's fricking killing me) so I usually download but don't get a mix together until after the deadline. I think I've mixed every one since PMC5 (including the "Another kind of PMC" ones) and this is the first one I'm entering. LOL.

BIG Thanks to Fin for the tracks and everyone that hosts, I have a blast mixing the all the tracks.

Here's the version I did Tuesday, I've done a bit more to it already but didn't bring the mp3 over to my work laptop for upload. Critiques greatly appreciated.
 
Well, I am having a heck of a time wrapping my head around this one - any help is greatly appreciated.

 
Ok, here's my first mix. Nothing special, just a fairly dry mix that I'm still not happy with. But I said I'd have one up in a day or so and today is the 'or so' part. I'm not happy with the snare and a skillion other things so, Chris I'm counting on you to point me in the right direction. ;)

Good mix dude. For some reason, it quit on me at about 3:22. Was it on my end, or did it get cut off during upload?

The general flavor you got out of the sounds individually is good Geet.
However, this is mixed similar to hip-hip.
i.e. Tons of bass gtr, lots of kick n snare, and plenty of vocals.
The guitars both acoustic and lead are super distant and almost non-elemental to the blend which is a shame.
Id work on that.

\Good Main vocal sound BTW.

I'm not sure why I mixed those guitars so low. Ha. I listened to it later and was like "What was was I thinking?"

Thanks. I'll put up a newer one later.
 
Are we allowed to add instruments? I'm sure I heard some keyboard in one of the posts.
