Ok, my band.. started recording a song of ours today. It was me(guitar/vocals) and our bassist and drummer. Recording was going fine, until on like the second track the track lights went off.. and low and hehold it says my card was full. I thought you got back time everytime u recorded over a track.. but yet it took away time from my card every time we did another take. Can anyone tell me whats wrong.
The next problem is, I read the manual.. but still can't figure out on tracks 5/6 and 7/8 to use just 5 or just 6, and not both, and how to use both tracks when u need to. This confuses me.
the last question, really partains to n-track but anyway...
I was wondering what are some things i can do to make my guitars and drums sound better? I will try to post a rough mp3 of what we are working on a lil later.. but mainly I've been messing around with the compressors and EQ's and thats helped alot, but I think it could get alot better.
please help!! Thanks
