Hi,
So yeah, I finally got my recording stuff (minus one bass mic (DAKG D112) to arrive within the next few days), but I'm having a little problem with the soundcard. I use N Track to record, and it won't let me for example play something in Media Player and record at the same time (I get an "Error opening wave device" box). I can't play N-Track's built in metronome either (no clicks to be heard at all!), so therefore I can't play along to a click track!
I'm assuming this problem is due to the settings on my computer. In N Track the soundcard I've selected for playback and recording is "M Audio Delta AP 1/2", I've got the same selected in Windows > Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices. So, has anyone got any advice on how to get everything working in harmony?
Thanks very much,
Tom
P.S. I spent four hours today recording thirteen (yes a whole thirteen!) minutes of music, burnt it to CD, only to find that I had the headphone volume right down all the way through, so it was all way too quiet...hehe, live and learn!
