Problems with Sonar 5, help please!!!

Hey all. I have Sonar5 P.E. and I was having no problems whatsoever with it before I reformatted my computer.

I'm using a firepod, so this may also be the problem.

I am a fan of jamming to some of my favorite tunes so I would always using the firepod as my main audio out in windows, run Musicmatch and listen to some songs and play the drums to them whilst recording in sonar.

Ever since I reformatted, about a week ago, I get this popup in sonar saying that the device is already in use. This happens when I use anything + sonar, WMP, winamp, musicmatch, any kind of videos on myspace or anything.

Edit, btw my firepod has the latest drivers and firmware, and had the same before I reformatted.

Do you have the "share dirvers with other programs" checked off in Options > Audio > Advanced?

Hmm, yeah that was checked off but when I checked in back on and restarted everything I still have the same problem

Could it be a problem with the firepod driver or something? I have the same one I had before I reformatted.. Idk what to do! It's very frustrating though, everytime I want to listen to music or osmething I have to restart the computer to clear everything.

Edit: The exact error message is as follows:

"Unable to open the audio playback device. Device may not support this format or may already be in use."

Edit: Alright so I changed my driver mode to MME (32-Bit) and it seems to work. Is this bad? What driver mode should I use with the firepod? It gives me the options of WDM/KS, ASIO, and the MME. The WDM and ASIO both do not work for the playback option, but I'm pretty sure in the past my setting was on ASIO. ASIO doesnt even detect the firepod though, only my onboard sound. WDM/KS only detects the firepod, and MME detects both onboard sound and my firepod.
