Hi,

There's a problem with my Rode NT4.

The left mic gives less volume, less brightness and more noise than the other one.

If I swith the capsules, it's the right one that doesnt functionate well. So the problem has to be searched in that capsule.

Anyone with advise, experience or a solution?

Thanks

Ummm...how does "repair it" sound? You know you have a bad capsule on your hands. Either replace it yourself or have someone else replace it. What else is there?

I'd start looking by looking for authorized Rode repair centers or repair shops that do general microphone repair. I'd also just contact Rode and see if you can get info or a capsule from them. Perhps best of all, find out the name of the Chinese OEM who makes Rodes capsules for them and see if you can get a capsule direct.

I already sent a mail to the music store where I bought the mic (My experience with their service is not very positive), to the European distributor and to Rode Australia.

I suppose it should be possible to obtain a single capsule.
