problems with axiom

my axiom is starting to piss me off, when ever im in pro tools or any other program, it will cut off and a little icon in my tray reads usb device not recognized and when it does that i have to restart the program im in to get my axiom to work, i sometimes do this all day :mad: and i only had it for about a year and it just started this about a month ago. is anybody else having problems with there axiom

Have you tried uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling? I have to do this every now and then.. it gets corrupted from time to time. Other than that i've not had any issues with it. I hate having to change the program settings from 15 to 10 when i'm using reason. When set to 15 you can use it to control protools.

yea i tried reinstalling about 3 times but it still cuts off, im beginning to think its something wrong with my power supply, like i said its been working perfect for about a year but i geuss shit just happens, now m-audio is pissing me off because everytime i ask them about sending it in and getting a R/A number they say some shit like maybe its just your usb cable and im like DAMN DUDE I TRIED EVERYTHING I POSSIBLY COULD JUST LET ME SEND THE DAMN THING BACK F#*K. i know i have to pay i, not worried about that i just want it fixed
