hi i just bought the eurorack 1202 and when I plug in a condenser and turn on the phanotom power I get a buzzing sound. if i remove the mic the buzzing stops any ideas?
It could be several things. Turn all of your faders down to zero (including the gain). If that buzzing still occurs, then plug some headphones into the board and see if the buzzing also occurs there (turn up the faders till you can hear yourself speaking in the mic).
If the buzzing goes away, then it's probably in your signal chain between the board and your pc.
ok i did what david kataus said and there is a buzz in all out channels even in phones. This is what kills the buzz. either cut phantom power or pull mic out of board with phantom power on. I dont have an extra cord where i am that is what i will check next.
