I have been trying to hook up my akai mpc 3000 to my digidesign 002 rack via midi. How do I accomplish this?

Info you can use...
With midi clock.
Set the MPC to receive an external clock signal. Look in the manual if this is not something you're familiar with. Then hook a midi cable from the midi out of the (ick) protools rack and into the midi in of the MPC.
This will make (ick) protools the master --- set the tempo there --- and the MPC the slave.
