Pro Tools LE 7

I didn't see any PTs forum here, so I'll ask here. Is it possible to get pro tools LE 7 without having to buy anything else?

Next question... does PT LE 7 work with other hardware like my maya 1010 card and breakout box?

Yes (black market) but it won't run without the Digi hardware attached.

No, but PT M-Powered will work with almost any M-Audio interface.

So in summation in order to run Pro Tools you either need to buy Digi hardware (which includes PTLE) or M-Audio hardware, and PT M-Powered.

BTW PTLE, and PT M-Powered are virtually identical, but there are some features in PTLE that are not in M-Powered.
 
There is no real difference really. I have MPowered because I already had an M-Audio Firewire 410. With LE, you get more bundled plugins, and that really is the only difference I've seen.

The Digi 002r is a pretty sweet unit. I wish I would have saved up and bought that to tell the truth. Its got 8 ins plus supports ADAT lightpipe.

Sorry, you need the Digidesign hardware for that one.
