Pro Tools LE 5.3.1 HELP!!!

ok I WAS running pro tools le 5.3.1 through my digi 001 up until the other day when my computer crashed :( I saved my programs folder to a jump drive and reformatted my hard drive and installed a fresh copy of xp sp1, I replaced the programs folder where it should be then ran the drivers that were in the pro tools drivers folder. I tried to run pro tools and it says something like "this software requires special device drivers to be installed...etc." I don't have an ilok but I didn't think I would need one. I have quicktime installed and not really sure what I need to do to fix this. Any ideas?
 
When you install programmes on windows it doesn't just put files in the Program Files folder. It will put them wherever it needs to. It will also add entries into the registry.

Really you will need to install Pro Tools again to make sure that it works properly. There's no telling what could go wrong otherwise.

do you think if I ran a data recovery program to replace the files that were removed, think that would work?
