Frequently when I load PT HD 8.1 I get an 'Access Error' which keeps PT from loading. I figured the problem to be that my some Digidesign HD drivers don't load in the Device Manager (under Sound , Video, and game controllers). If I start my computer up about 5-10 times, eventually they all show up enabling me to work in Pro Tools. This occurred occasionally in PT LE as well.
Can someone please explain what the problem is, and what specific steps I can take to fix this issue? I have tried reinstalling Windows 7, as well as PT and all my plugs - The problem still occurs.
I would appreciate any help anyone can offer,
