Pro Tools Digi 003 PT8 SPDIF

I am looking to purchase an SPDIF preamp. I like the way the MPA Gold Sounds, So I am thinking the Digital MPA Gold would be the way to go.

I've noticed it only has an Output for SPDIF not an Input and Output.
If I have Digi 003 set as my master and the Digital MPA Gold connected with only the one cable will I have clocking issues?

I also have ADA800 using my optical ins and outs.

Potentially, yes.


You'd have to set your MPA as your master clock, clock the 003 from that, and clock the ADA800 from the 003.

Is the MPA Clock better then the 003 clock?
