Pro Tools aster Motif Slave

Greetings all,



I have searched all over to get the correct answer to this problem.

I am using a Midisport 4x4 for midi, but have a M-audio 410. My Mpc 2000xl syncs perfectly to Pro Tools 6.8.

I set the transmit channel to 1 and teh receive to channel 2.

I tried Midi Sync in both Internal and MIDI mode.

My audio cables are hooked up correctly too.

In Pro Tools 6.8, I have Midi Beat Clock enabled. In the Session Setup window I have the "MTC to Port" box checked. The path selected is my Midisport 4x4 where my Motif is connected.

I have not touched the timecode (30) or frame rate (25).

You really don't need to scream about your problem. It is a holiday weekend after all...

Have you tried something as simple as turning the local on/off on the Motif to the 'off' position? That will break the connection between the sound source inside and the keyboard and should allow you to sync the Motif sequencer to the computer, which I assume is what you want to do.
