Hi all,

Ok so i started working on some material last night using my new motif rack along side reason rewired and the triton. Ok my triton is hooked up direct optical adat to my digi002. I really like working in the digital realm because it's easier to deal with in pro-tools. How can i make it so that i have both my motif rack and my triton studio sharing an 8 channel adat optical connection??

with a digital patch bay is all I can think of.

M-Audio ProFire Lightbridge
34-in/36-out FireWire Lightpipe Interface
USD 499.95

I dont know if there is another cheaper solution cause my interface (Presonus Firestudio) has dual SMUX adat lightpipe so I can do 16 channels

Shure do! and to go along with it I have a korg X50 a Roland Juno 106 and Reasons 3 here is the thread with pics, this is before I got the X50 in Febuary, I traded the yammy in on it (bottom keyboard!)http://www.homerecording.com/bbs/showthread.php?p=2398991#post2398991

Back to the other question you can get this http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/CO2-main.html for $80.00 witch will convert optical adat to coaxal SPDIF then you can use the SPDIF on the 002, that is a better solution!

My only problem with that is it will only be one channel. I would like to use multiple channels. I asked on the DUC forum and was suggested to look at a Z device that's like almost $4 g's I don't have that kinda cash. It seems like a simple deal i just thought there would be more products on the market that allowed you to do this. Almost every device you buy now has an adat connection on it.

Did you look at my pictures? I have a modest studio! ;) See this is the reason why I got rid of my 002r a year and a half ago cause I knew that I would need the extra I/O.
