I know this interface has been discontinued, but I have a pending deal on a used one at a great price, and I'm wondering if it will be an upgrade from my current M-Audio Ultra8R? I mainly want the additional channels the firestudio offers, but I don't want to get into instability issues and sound quality problems. My Ultra8R is rock solid, but I am limited by it's 8 channels.
