G gitrguy87 New member Apr 30, 2006 #1 I have a Fender Ultra-Chorus and it's a pretty noisy amp. On the clean channel even when the guitar is turned down all the way, its very noisy. If I were to buy a seperate preamp and run it through the FX-loop, will that cut down on the noise?
