This is the stupidist yet...I noticed when I record some old analogue stuff, the timer on PT starts when I hit record, right? Now this isn't much of a problem, because I've already got a tape cued up from the source to feed into the computer. 4 seconds different at the most (like the song I sent in for the Comp CD),
But now I'm trying to do a tune recording only on the comp and I want the song to be perfectly timed, just like the starts and stops on cds...when they say the length is 3:12, it really is 3:12....
So do I need an extra set of hands, or is there a way to set the time After everything's done, or what? Wish there was a sound sensitive timer in the thing to start the clock.
Help me start my song at zero! (next month, or next week, I'll have another stupid question no doubt...thanks for the patience...gibs)
