Possibly stupid question

So, I know, no smoking around equipment. What about candles and/or incense? Is it the smoke itself (well.. duh) but what i mean, like the chemicals being burned or just the mere fact it's smoke?

I would say any extra particulate matter in the air isn't going to do oyu a lot of good, although a cigarette is goign to put out more matter than a candle...
If you've ever seen a smoker's room after a few years you'll knowwhat i mean

Also, there's the whole smell issue.
