Since we learned today that Obama's senate seat is actually being sold to the highest bidder, I thought we should at least pool our money and try to elect SouthsideGlen to be a US Senator, where he will do doubt bring millions in pork-barrel spending to lonely musicians everywhere.

Who's with me?

I'm in!

And since I live in Nevada, I can kick in for a dozen hookers too. :D

You guys can submit your campaign contributions here.

P.S. Starbuck, did you ever send out that CD? I have not gotten it yet if you did.

I hope they realize you're winning 52 billion to 76.

No, I haven't sent it yet. I'm on a long business trip in FL. I'll send when I get back.

Even better that that, you guys could send a small donation for real here.

It's tax deductable. Send a buck. Send five bucks. Send $52 billion, if you actually got it :). But don't let that assh*le Blago get away with it.

Re the CD, Starbuck: No problem. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't lost in transit or something.

So you're saying we could help sick children, OR we could make a futile effort to get some guy we barely know from the internet elected to some political office he probably won't get?

I think that choice is pretty obvious!

Where's the booth so I can cast my 11 votes?

Hey, nobody said you couldn't do both ;).

Actually, I already tried for the Senate job. I offered Blago 16 silver dollars and a new Schwinn bicycle. He called me a F___ing clown.*

*If you're not an adult from Chicago and you don't get that, don't worry about it.

Again, this is Illinois - Go right ahead. Especially in Chicago...

I'd vote, but I live across the pond....:(

You can vote from beyond the grave in Illinois. All my dead relatives voted Obama. Trust me; I did the paperwork (with help from the Obama campaign of course).
