Cherry chapstick and a Sucrets, that's the ticket for great vocals, man.
OK, that totally bums me out. All this time I was drinking whiskey because Ian Paice used to do that when he sang for Deep Purple... :(

The hard part is finding vintage Sucrets. There are MIJ reissues that aren't bad, but I can tell the difference.

This thread is a prime example of why it's often better to get off topic! Especially on a Friday afternoon.

OK, I know it really doesn't matter, but

Sometimes we all drink beer and watch the women stroll by while in the back of our heads a tune is playing, yes you may even think: "Need to record that while it is still there"...............in the meantime you may want to check this forum out as you know that your mikes are not up to what they should, and you knowledge of recording sounds and speech may have a severe lack of................

Ooops sorry fallen of the cliff here.......................

No it is great to read what others do, use [and abuse] and it does inspire and occasssionally you may get ideas which may lead you into another direction.

Do value this place and needless to say I think it is a lot offfff ffffffffun.

It seems to me that we have lost sight of what we are trying to do. I believe this sight, and ones like it are here for guitarists to help one another. Not brag or issue pointless brags about what type of equipment we have. I mean hell just whip it and and seem whos is bigger. Case in point a simple question. About and inexpensive acoustic or acoustic electric guitar. A lot of good feedback and real brands, but there is always some poster who has to throw in and please excuse my tone Well i love my hd-28 with Blah Blah Blah. When the issue is for a guitar under 1000 or in some cases 499. I admit i love to hear about high end stuff. who doesn't, but we need to confine our answers real points and not try to impress. I don't know maybe i am missing the point myself. If so please let me know

Hi Proc,

Is this not a posting for the "Vistor Feedback" one? It is very general eh? Does not really relate to all things strings and things :D

Okay I do not really want to put you on the wrong foot here, it is just a thought you know, I myself am often confused where to post stuff as too much of what I am trying to say may relate to too many different forums, so heck, where do you put it eh? Well just where you feel most comfortable, there you go...................... ;)

You do have the ability to ignore something someone says/writes. It sounds as though you are just jealous/insecure about your own gear. That is just as ridiculous.

I find it stupid when someone does start speaking of high end equipment when the original poster listed a price limit, but come on. Does it happen that often? Could it not just be a mistake of the reply-er? If not, it's their row to hoe, not mine.
