I gave all the tunes a listen and first of all I'd say,..that yeah,..youre consistent. All the tunes have pretty much the same feeling to them. At least thats what I get. The tones and and sounds are consistent in their quality.
I couldnt really say that i liked one better than the other or vice versa. I really liked the whispering vocs in Interlude 2. But,..I was hoping that something else would kick in at some point. The whispering vocs are cool,.but,..for the whole tune?
I liked the guitar tones,..I really like the vocal styles and tone,...but i didnt find myself wanting to listen to any of them again. It doesnt have to do with timing,..lyrics,..vocs,...programmed drums,...or any of that. I think it all sounds fine and good mixing to.
What the problem is,..is that i lost interest in every tune about mid-way through. My opinion is that you need to concentrate more on writing.
Every song that started,..I thought,.."this is gonna be a good one". I was into it for about a minute,..minute and a half,..then just lost interest.
So,..I dont think that you need to stop doing anything. These tunes have good vibes and good feel,..good lyrics as well,..in my opinion. But,..rather,..you need to do more. Concentrate on your listener,..and try harder to keep them listening,..and wanting more.
My two beans.
take 'er easy,...
