I have updated my SoundClick page and I now have 6 songs up. I would like very much if someone would go and take a listen to my music and tell me how consistent I am. What song did you like best and why. What song did you like least and why. Is there something that should stop doing in my music? Here's the link: STAT1STICK @ SoundClick

Thanks in advance!

P.S.
Insection doesn't count!

I think my favorite is Roberta. The guitar parts in the verses are really cool and the drum parts are badass too. The only thing that could be better is if the drums were real.

Thank you! That song means a lot to me. It's really personal but I think that a lot of people could relate to it if they read the lyrics. Thanks for the compliment on the drums. I wish they could be real drums but a) I don't have a real set and b) I'm way too fat to be waving my arms around like that for too long! :D

Anyone else?

about roberta,i dont know if i like the sound of the picked guitar but when strummed it sound good. even if the drums are fake they have some really cool moments. and maybe the vocals are a little loud but they are really well done

I gave all the tunes a listen and first of all I'd say,..that yeah,..youre consistent. All the tunes have pretty much the same feeling to them. At least thats what I get. The tones and and sounds are consistent in their quality.
I couldnt really say that i liked one better than the other or vice versa. I really liked the whispering vocs in Interlude 2. But,..I was hoping that something else would kick in at some point. The whispering vocs are cool,.but,..for the whole tune?
I liked the guitar tones,..I really like the vocal styles and tone,...but i didnt find myself wanting to listen to any of them again. It doesnt have to do with timing,..lyrics,..vocs,...programmed drums,...or any of that. I think it all sounds fine and good mixing to.
What the problem is,..is that i lost interest in every tune about mid-way through. My opinion is that you need to concentrate more on writing.
Every song that started,..I thought,.."this is gonna be a good one". I was into it for about a minute,..minute and a half,..then just lost interest.

So,..I dont think that you need to stop doing anything. These tunes have good vibes and good feel,..good lyrics as well,..in my opinion. But,..rather,..you need to do more. Concentrate on your listener,..and try harder to keep them listening,..and wanting more.

My two beans.

take 'er easy,...

 Wow! Thank you! That's probably the best advice I have ever received on this board! I'm actually in shock! I will definitely try to focus more on the listener and write things that people are going to want to listen to instead of just hear. Man, I'm still trippin' on your response... It was like the perfect post!
