PLAYBACK DROPOUT xxxx----

I am using an ADAT XT and on playback, at a precise point (almost as if it had something to do with the timecode) tracks 5-8 stop playing back and won't come back on unless I reboot. The same tape plays fine on another ADAT.

I also have the problem on all 8 channels when I try and record.


What's wrong??? Machine has 480 hours of head-use, in case that matters.
 
I have the same problem. Tracks 5-8 stop playing back unless I reboot. Did anyone determine what the problem was and what the solution is? If so, please share with us.
